Dear Members of the MHA PS 65x Community:

 

Welcome to a new and exciting school year! 

This week will be the commencement of many programs; PBIS-Excel morning meetings; Common Planning; student assessments; team sports and more.

We encourage all MHA staff members to check their NYCDOE and MHA email accounts daily for up to date information and deadline notices.  Please look below for this week’s schedule(s).

 

Monday, September 10, 2012:

 

·         Study Hall will be covered by Mr. Malone

o   Class 211- will be covered in the classroom

o   Classes 312 & 313 – in the auditorium - all students must have reading books and notebooks available for use.

·         Common Planning with Ms. Hunt

o   4^th Grade at 8:45 a.m. in room 509.

o   1^st Grade at 12:45 p.m. in room 210.

·         Staff PD – all are to report to the Auditorium by 2:30 p.m. – Kindly dismiss your students on time. Bring all late pick-up students to room 211 (thank you Ms. Maltby and Ms. Jorle)

o   Lori Rodriguez of FRIENDS Mental Health Program and Mr. Adler will be presenting

 

Tuesday, September 11, 2012: 

 

·         Study Hall will be covered by Mr. Malone in the Auditorium unless indicated by PI which will be in your room

·         Common Planning with Ms. Hunt

o   Special Education & SBST-PPT Members at 8:45 a.m. in room 412.

o   3^rd Grade at 9:30 a.m. in room 412

·         Extended day for 3-5 students until 3:15 p.m. – Teachers please be prompt to your assigned class.

 

Wednesday, September 12, 2012:

 

·         Study Hall will be covered by Mr. Malone in the Library

·         School Aide Meeting at 9:30 a.m. in Ms. Gonzalez’ office

·         Common Planning with Ms. Hunt

o   5^th Grade at 8:45 a.m. in room 513.

o   Kindergarten at 12:40 p.m. in room 211.

·         Extended day for 3-5 students until 3:15 p.m.

 

Thursday, September 13, 2012:

 

·         Common Planning with Ms. Hunt

o   Enrichment Teachers at 8:00 a.m. in room 103.

o   1^st Grade at 8:45 a.m. in room 210

o   Grade Facilitators at 1:30 p.m. in room 508.

 

Friday, September 14^th, 2012

 

·         Ms. Presto at Math Coach Meeting

o   Pre-Kindergarten at 10:15 a.m. in room 212.
