Week of November 7^th - 10^th:

 Dear Members of the MHA PS 65x Community:

         Thank you for making our City Year-Clifford Chance event a successful one.  Please note that City Year members will return to complete the remaining painting projects in the next weeks to come; email Ms. Gonzalez and Ms. Hunt the names of students that would be able to participate in the painting completion. 

Reminder:  In attempt to dismiss students efficiently to accommodate the various afterschool programs we will be having commencing Wednesday, November 9^th, 2011; READ Program for selected Kindergarten and First Grade students  will be picked up from the classrooms by 2:15 p.m. and Dismissal will be as follows:

·         All Bus Students are to go to the Cafeteria by 2:15 p.m.

·         Pre-K in the Gymnasium (closest to Powers Avenue.)

·         K-2 in the school yard by 2:20 p.m. prompt, then to room 209 by 2:30 p.m. prompt at designated tables with Ms. O’Blines.

·         3-5 in the Auditorium by 2:20 p.m. prompt. 

·         3-5 Students that are not in any afterschool program and walk home alone are to use the exit stage-left (closest to Cypress Avenue) to the school yard.

·         All other 3-5 students will be picked up by the afterschool program members in the auditorium. 

Monday, November 7^th, 2011:

·         Ms. Fairley at a SETSS training at the CFN 203.

·         Acuity Math ITA for 3^rd-5^th grade students.  Please see below for change in Monday’s Prep Program.

·         Staff PD  & Faculty Conference 2:30-3:40 pm in Auditorium with Ms. Ross

 

Tuesday, November 8^th, 2011: 

·         Election Day – Chancellor’s PD

·         PPT Meeting 8:00 a.m. -9:30 a.m.

·         Deadline to email Ms. Gonzalez & Ms. Hunt the names of students for Good Citizen Award with the act of good deed. 

Friday, November 11^th, 2011:

·         VETERAN’S DAY – no school
