Dear Members of the MHA PS 65x Community:

 

            Please continue to discuss the PBIS matrix and create/maintain a safe and happy educational environment/culture.  Also review the Shelter Drill protocol with the students this week.

 

            District 7 is encouraging teachers to register for the informational session on the New Teacher Evaluation and Development System to take place on Monday, June 17^th from 4:00pm – 6pm at the South Bronx Educational Campus on St. Ann’s Avenue: Kindly register to attend.

Additionally, Friday is CRAZY HAT Spirit day.  Kindly assist your students in creating “hat” paraphernalia for June 21^st.

o  Special Education Articulation Meeting for all Special Education Teachers in room 508 at 8:50 a.m. prompt.

• Steel Pans Dress Rehearsal

o   8:45 – 512 & 509

o   11:00 – 507 & 501

o   11:45 – 508

o   12:35 – 511 (lunch will be at 11am)

o   2:20 p.m. prompt dismissal for students in PreK-2 grades.

• 5^th Grade Awards Ceremony and Steel Pans show for Family and Friends – 5:30 p.m.

 

Thursday, June 20, 2013:  

 

·         All Student Portfolios and cumulative records are to be given/transferred to the 2013-14 Teachers.

o   Fifth Grade Teachers:  Please see Ms. Rivera, Ms. Ross and Mr. Adler for protocol.

·         2:20 p.m. prompt dismissal for all students

·         Crazy Hat Spirit Day

·         PPT meeting for all Providers at 8:45 a.m. in room 404

• June 26, 2013 – Last day of school – Half Day for Students.
• September 9^th – first day of classes for all students (Half day for PreK)
