Dear Members of the MHA PS 65x Community:

 

June 2012 has kicked off (and will continue) to highlight all of the students’ and MHA Staffs’ many talents.  We had a packed fun-filled Friday, June 8^th commencing with the school wide PBIS assembly and closing with the Bronx Ensemble Drama Assembly (Bringin’ Broadway to The Bronx); A Fabulous Friday!! 

 

Thanks to all MHA community members for your tireless dedication to our students, student clubs and tutoring programs and late night planning.  It was evident that Howard Gardner’s theory or multiple intelligences is not a “theory”; our MHA community members integrated the majority (if not all) intelligences; and we witnessed it on Friday, June 8, 2012. 

 

We appreciate all that you do, large and small.  Thank you.

 

Reminder: 

·         Communicate with Parents regarding student academic progress.

·         Sign up for PBIS EXSEL Morning Assembly.  The calendar is in the main office.

·         Moving up Ceremony Auditorium Practices – check with Ms. Molina for updated schedule.

• Half-Day 11:30 a.m. Student Dismissal:  All Prep periods have been rescheduled for the afternoon.
• 10:30 a.m. Pre-K-2 lunch time
• 11:00 a.m. 3-5 lunch time.

·         Staff PD - 2:30 – 3:00 p.m.

• September 6^th – Students return to school.
• September 7^th – Full day for Kindergarten students.
