Week of June 10th – June 14th:
Dear Members of the MHA PS 65x Community:
Thank you Ms. Tracy O’Blines and those teachers that collaborated with her on ensuring the students participate in the Sumdog Math Competition. The 2012-13 school year will be coming to a close. As the summer approaches, it is important that our students continue to practice the skills that were taught all year long. All teachers are encouraged to schedule time to meet with Ms. O’Blines regarding the Sumdog’s Summer Challenge event. We want all of our students to participate: the goal is for the students to answer 2,000 or more questions. See email for more details.
Please continue daily to discuss the PBIS matrix and create/maintain a safe and happy educational environment/culture. On Thursday, June 6th, we received training on Lesson Planning and Effective Questioning (Thank you Ms. Gonzalez and Ms. Presto): Let’s put these into practice, especially when collaborating with our grade level teams. Additionally, Friday is STARS AND STRIPES Spirit day. Kindly assist your students in creating “stars and stripes” paraphernalia for June 14th.
