Dear MHA Family, Happy Friday!! I hope you enjoyed your weekend and took advantage of the warmer weather. On Friday, Janaury 31st, our school basketball team traveled to PS 385 and played well. PS 385 won. The final score was 30- 24. We will be playing PS 49 on Monday, February 3rd. We wish our players well!
A special thank you goes out to all staff members who supported the Energy Conservation Poster Contest. Thank you for supporting initiatives that enrich the lives of our students.
We are still collecting egg cartons, shoe boxes and bottle caps. If you have any of these items, please bring them to the main office. Thank you for your support.

Monday, February 3rd: - Faculty Conference and Staff Development today. Please report promptly to the gymnasium with your full copy of the Danielson Framework for Teaching.
- PBIS Student Committee will be going around to classroomand collecting B Bucks.
- Ms. Lyntonia Coston from Office of Teacher Effectiveness will be supporting me with classroom observations. Ms. Coston will be present a workshop on Domain 3B: Using Questions and Discussion Techniques.
- Mr. Sefa will be attending a Sustainability Meeting today.
- All 3rd - 5th grade teachers - Please make sure you submitted all the Mathematics and ELA benchmark exams to Ms. Gonzalez.
- During morning meetings, students will begin to present skits and biographies to celebrate and give tribute to African American History. We ask teachers of participating students.
- Mother Hale Academy Basketball Team will be playing PS 49 - Teachers, please have participating students come down to lunch with all their belongings. They will be meeting Mr. Adler in the auditorium following the lunch period. Cheerleaders will not be attending the game.

- All Bronx Ensemble Multi-cultural Dance permission are due to Mr. Jewan today. Please collect them from your students. Student in Grades 3-4 will be auditioning today in the audioirium from 2:45 pm - 4:45 pm.

Tuesday, February 4th: - I will be attending a Principal's Meeting. Mr. Adler is the Supervisor in Charge.
- Ms. Meredith Shaller-Cardali will be in the building today to support our ICT and Self-Contianed classroom teachers.
- Auditorium Usage:It's Picture Day for Charter School. PS 65x will not have access to the auditorium.
- Please find out what our your students' Favorite Musical Group. Remind students to wear their Favorite Musical Group shirt this Friday.
Wednesday, February 5th: - Reminder to distribute B Bucks to students exhibiting our 3 Bee's: Being Responsible, Being Respectful and Being a Problem Solver.
- Reminder to submit Mid-Winter packet to me for review. All packets are due Friday, February 7th by noon.
