2013 - Week of  May 6^th-May 10^th:    

Dear Members of the MHA PS 65x Community:

Please note that the NYSESLAT testing is on its way; Ms. Otero, Ms. Yah Jorle and Ms. Pontier will be proctoring the examinations.  Accordingly, the following rooms will be unavailable due to testing: 454, 504, 404 and 502. 

Also note that Ms. DeMichele will be out for NYS scoring all week.

Kindly assist your students in creating Black & White paraphernalia to wear on Friday. 

Lastly, in my role as the Assistant Principal/problem solver of quarrels amongst students, etc., I am happy to share the following phrases said to me by students’, in their words of wisdom:

1.      “Ms. Hunt, he told me to “Think before you speak!...””  Told to me by a second grader.

2.      “I thought she [the teacher’s name omitted] was supposed to Encourage us with words, Encourage us with her actions…” Told to me by a fourth grader.

The above statements are proof that all of our students are always listening to what we are saying and watching what we are doing.  And at minimum, they hold us to high standards and expectations.  We are their role models and to that it is proof that our teachers are appreciated by all of our students, staff and family members.
