2013 - Week of March 11^th – March 15^th :

 

Dear Members of the MHA PS 65x Community:

 

Firstly, I am proud to announce that Mr. Samson’s, Mr. Jewan’s & Ms. Santiago’s recruiting process for our first MHA Soccer team was successful; it has now come to a close and team members have been selected.  Practices will be held on Thursday’s.  For more information, please reach out to Mr. Samson. 

 

Secondly, in preparation for our weekly Spirit Fridays, kindly work with the students in creating fun accessories (hats, necklaces, wrist bracelets, arm bands, T-shirt add on, etc. ) that they can display.  Ms. Gonzalez will be handing out additional “Bee Bucks” for this display of school solidarity and spirit.  This Friday, March 15^th is the spirit of GREEN.  

 

Thirdly, kindly remind students and parents that our book fair will be on this week.  Please see Ms. O’Blines for scheduling and other details.

 

Finally, please have student portfolios prepared for our parents to preview on Tuesday, March 12^th, the day of Parent-Teacher conference.  Additionally, kindly reach out to parents that are unable to appear on Tuesday to schedule a mutually agreeable time.  Please be sure to notify our office secretaries of these appointments.
