2013 - Week of February 11^th – February 15^th :

 

Dear Members of the MHA PS 65x Community:

             On Friday, February 8^th, Ms. Facey and Ms. Rosario hosted a literacy celebration for their students and parents.  In spite of the weather, the turn-out was successful.  Thank you for bridging both home and school communities to witness student literary achievement.  We look forward to more celebrations.

             Starting this week, the “Respect for All” lessons are to be taught during the morning meetings in lieu of the PBIS EXSEL Lessons.  The purpose of these lessons is to build upon ongoing PBIS EXSEL program that “promotes respect for diversity and focus on preventing bias-based harassment, intimidation, and bullying.”  Please review Ms. Gonzalez’ correspondence previously distributed for more information.

             This week is our first basketball game for the 2012-13 school year.  Please reach out to Mr. Adler for more details.

             Kindly remind students that school will be closed on Monday and Tuesday, February 18^th and 19^th.
