            Thank you for your support with the third, fourth and fifth graders who will be testing this week in ELA;   Your dedication and commitment during extended day are the display of community that educators create when collaborating to attain a common goal.

Monday, April 15, 2013: 

 

·         Second – Fifth Grade Teachers are to cover up the walls in the room for Testing

·         NYSESLAT training – See schedule

·         2:20 p.m. prompt dismissal for all students

• Staff PD at 2:30 Prompt in Powers’ side gym
• ELL after school program begins.  Please see Ms. Santiago, Ms. Lizardi and/or Ms. S. Rivera for more details.

 

Tuesday, April 16, 2013: 

 

• Terrific Tuesday – Be Bucks Ceremony in Auditorium
• NYS ELA testing for 3-5 grade students – See Prep Changes
• First and Second graders at trip to Museum of Natural History
• Kindergarten to Botanical Gardens

o   Steel Pans canceled due to testing

o   2:20 p.m. prompt dismissal for students in PreK-2 grades.

o   Extended Day for students in grades 3-5:

• PreK, Kindergarten, 1^st Grade, 2^nd Grade and Enrichment Teachers please be prompt to your class – 2:30 p.m.

 

Wednesday, April 17, 2013:

• Leadership Program – Assisting with Testing
