2012 - Week of October 8th – 12th:

 

Dear Members of the MHA PS 65x Community:

 

Teachers: please be sure to notify both Ms. T. Rivera and Mr. Adler of any students that are on your roster but have not attended school or with more than two (2) days of absences.  Additionally, please ensure that you are in possession of the cumulative folder of each child that is present in your classroom.

We encourage all MHA staff members to check their NYCDOE and MHA email accounts daily for up to date information and deadline notices.  Please communicate with both Ms. Presto and Ms. DeMichele as to the deadline dates that baseline assessments should be completed and results are to be submitted via email to both Administration and Coaches.  Administrative class walk-throughs will be continuing in the month of October; as to not interrupt the lesson, please have your lesson plan available for our review.

• Ms. Rodriguez, Ms. Maltby & Ms. Yal Jorle at STOPP TCI training @ 1230 Zerega Avenue, Bronx, NY 8:30-3p.m.
• CFN 203 Mr. Feldberg & Ms. Mary Shamon will be visiting today.
• Special Education Common Planning Period (8:45 a.m.) in room 410. Please be prompt.
• Acuity Baseline Math assessment continues for 3^rd, 4^th and 5^th graders to be administered by teachers during math periods.
• 1^st Graders on trip to the Fire House
• Extended day for 3^rd, 4^th and 5^th graders.
• ASPIRA Afterschool program begins.

 

Wednesday, October 10,  2012:

         Ms. Lizardi, Ms. Hochroth & Ms. McManus at STOPP TCI training @ PS 56K - 170 Gates Avenue, Brooklyn, NY 8:30-3p.m.

• Acuity Baseline Math assessment for 3^rd, 4^th and 5^th graders to be administered by teachers during math periods – final day; assessments to be delivered to Ms. Hunt by 2:30 p.m.
• ARIS Parent Workshop with Ms. Hunt in Computer Lab 9:00 a.m. and 5 p.m.
• Morning Technology preps will be held in the classrooms.

• Extended day for 3^rd, 4^th and 5^th graders.
