2012 - Week of October 15th – 19th:

 

Dear Members of the MHA PS 65x Community:

 

 As the season changed and the weather becomes colder, all morning line-ups will be in the auditorium.  All Teachers are to be in the auditorium at 8:00 a.m.  Please be prompt.  Additionally, if you have a technology prep period at 12:35 p.m. on Wednesday and Friday, please note that it will take place in your classroom.  Please have your students ready for Ms. Blackwell prior to her arrival.  If laptops are needed, put in a request more than 24 hours in advance.

In solidarity of making strides against cancer, all MHA community members are asked to wear pink on Wednesday, October 17^th, 2012.

Administrative class walk-throughs will be continuing in the month of October; as to not interrupt the lesson, please have your lesson plan available (open on a desk/table) for our review.

Monday, October 15, 2012:                

 

·         PBSI Tier 2 meeting with Ms. Sklerov.  See schedule change.

·         Staff PD on utilizing the MHA website in room 103 and Powers’ side gymnasium.  Please bring your laptops.  Special Thanks to Ms. O’Blines, Ms. Webster, Ms. Santiago and Ms. Mercado for providing the training.

 

Tuesday, October 16, 2012:

 

• Ms. Rodriguez, Ms. Maltby & Ms. Yal Jorle at STOPP TCI training @ 1230 Zerega Avenue, Bronx, NY 8:30-3p.m.
• Special Education Common Planning Period (8:45 a.m.) Please be prompt. Room 410.
• Second Graders on trip to the St. Mary’s Pool.
• Extended day for 3^rd, 4^th and 5^th graders. PreK-2^nd Grade Teachers, please be prompt to your classes.

o   All Educational Assistants are to meet in room 103 for Promethean Board training.

 

Wednesday, October 17,  2012:

 

• PreK non-attendance day.
• Ms. McManus,  Ms. Hochroth & Ms. Lizardi at STOPP TCI training @ PS 56 170 Gates Avenue, Brooklyn, NY 8:30-3p.m.
• First Graders on trip to Meadow's Farm.
• Parent Workshop with Ms. Gonzalez.
• Second Graders on trip to the St. Mary’s Pool.

• Extended day for 3^rd, 4^th and 5^th graders. Kindergarten, 1^st and 2^nd Grade Teachers please be prompt to your class.

• November 12^th: Veteran’s day – School Closed
• November 13^th: Parent Teacher Conference: 1-3 p.m. and 5-7:30 p.m.
