Dear Members of the MHA PS 65x Community:

 

Thank you to all the MHA family for your dedication to our colleagues and students during this past week’s challenging time and the weeks to come.  Together we grow stronger.

Please notify the students and their parents that our annual book fair will commence on Tuesday, November 13th. 

 

Reminder: 

·         Please go to the website to secure:

o   Laptop cart for your students. 

o   Computer Lab time.

·         Cameras and video cameras

o   Teachers are to ensure that photography and videography permission slips are retained for every student.

o   All photographs and videos taken by students must be approved by Teachers (or Ms. Tracy O’Blines) before uploading to any projects for display, etc.

 

 

Monday, November 5, 2012:

2. Staff PD 2:30 – 3 p.m.

• Ms. Suckow presents OT strategies for PreK-2^nd Grade Teachers and EAs and Providers
• KIM Grant Members to present Active Inspire workshop with 3^rd-5^th Grader Teachers and EAs and  Enrichment Teachers

·         Faculty Conference 3-3:40 p.m. in Powers’ side gymnasium

·         Bronx Ensemble Arts Drama Afterschool program in Auditorium.

·         ASPIRA afterschool resume until 5:30 p.m.

 

Tuesday, November 6, 2012:

 

• Election Day – (please exercise your right and vote) PD for Staff members. No Students will be in attendance.
• 4^th Grade Teachers at PS 1 for Science PD
• Mr. Chen and Mr. Sefa at Music PD
• Ms. Blackwell at Technology PD
• Mr. Adler, Ms. Maida, Ms. Ross at Safety Symposium

 

Wednesday, November 7,  2012:

 

• Ms. Hunt  out of building at Testing PD in morning
• Second Graders on trip to the St. Mary’s Pool.

• Extended day for 3^rd, 4^th and 5^th graders. PreK, Kindergarten, 1^st and 2^nd Grade Teachers please be prompt to your class.
